Les Producteurs de pommes de terre du Québec and Utz join the 65+ members in this growing organization.
St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin – The Potato Sustainability Alliance (PSA) has welcomed two new members to its organization in the third quarter of 2025. Les Producteurs de pommes de terre du Québec (PPTQ) expands our Grower Organizations sector, while Utz Quality Foods strengthens the Processor sector of PSA members.
PSA is an inclusive, pre-competitive collaboration of all players in the potato value chain. PSA and its members work to define, measure, and advance potato sustainability by using robust metrics to drive improvements in productivity and profitability. Efforts are focused on protecting the environment and streamlining how farm-level data is collected and made available to end users.
“Our Alliance is strongest when we bring together diverse voices from across the potato value chain,” said John Mesko, CEO of the Potato Sustainability Alliance. “With Les Producteurs de pommes de terre du Québec and Utz Quality Foods joining, PSA is better positioned than ever to drive meaningful sustainability outcomes that benefit growers, companies, and consumers alike.”
About PSA’s newest members:
Les Producteurs de pommes de terre du Québec – Representing more than 230 active members who grow potatoes on nearly 18,000 hectares of land across the province, Les Producteurs de pommes de terre du Québec (PPTQ) works to strengthen the economic, environmental, and social sustainability of Quebec’s potato sector. Their addition to PSA brings valuable grower insights, leadership, and regional perspective from one of Canada’s long-standing potato-producing areas. As Les Producteurs continues to grow its presence across key industry platforms, we’re excited to collaborate on driving sustainability across the potato sector in North America.

Utz Quality Foods – As one of the largest branded snack companies in the United States, Utz brings deep market reach and a strong commitment to sourcing sustainable ingredients. By joining PSA as a Processor member, Utz strengthens the connection between sustainable potato production on farms and consumer demand for trusted snack brands. From farm rows to snack aisles, Utz knows the value of potatoes – and now, they’re joining growers, processors, and partners across North America to champion sustainability with PSA.
